As if Bungie hasn’t had enough trouble to deal with in Destiny 2, there’s a pretty rampant bug in the new Mayhem Crucible mode that’s arrived with The Dawning event. This bug affects Warlocks but in the sense that instead of reducing cooldowns on all abilities – which is what Mayhem is all about – it gives them unlimited Supers.
Bungie has recognizes the issue but noted that there won’t be a fix for the duration of The Dawning, most likely due to the developer being out for the Holidays. The Dawning concludes on January 9th 2018 but if you take advantage of the glitch, you won’t find yourself banned.
It’s fairly annoying though because it gives a huge edge to Voidwalker Warlocks. The fact that the Nova Bomb is very good at shutting down other Supers can be a problem as well. That being said, given the number of issues this event has had, from the stingy nature of rewards to Eververse itself, this is really just the icing on the cake at this point.
But hey, at least Divinity: Original Sin 2 is currently discounted on Steam, right? Go pick that up instead. It’s pretty good.
